Everyone has a favorite month that they really look forward to. Some look forward to celebrating a certain holiday and others look forward to celebrating a certain special day. Every month has some special meaning or day that someone will celebrate or cherish. When it comes to most holidays most people like decorating for the whole month. Some will go all out for their favorite holiday. Some people will have a favorite month just because that’s the month they go on vacation or spend time with family. What is your favorite month of the year?

We all have a favorite month for a reason or two. Sometimes we can recreate a memory with our kids that we had when we were younger. The traditions we cherish around special day or holiday can make us have a favorite month. Some people just love decorating and going all out for every holiday and occasion and that’s okay too. Theres a handful of people that love to celebrate their birthday month. They will try to do something special every day in the month that they were born in. Whatever your style is for celebrating your favorite month or day, you do you and do not let anyone take that away from you. Do you like to go all out for your favorite holiday or special day?
Decorating and going all out.
For my family I know this is something we like doing. We will decorate not only the inside of the house but the outside too. No matter what the holiday is we will decorate the inside and outside to celebrate the special day. Some people like decorating for the whole month and sometimes even longer. For example, Christmas holiday; some people will decorate for the whole of December month. Others will start decorating in the middle to the end of November and leave it up to the middle of January. My family will start decorating in the beginning of December and we will leave our Christmas decorations up to the middle of January. December twenty fifth we will celebrate American Christmas (new calendar or Gregorian calendar) and January seventh we will celebrate Greek Orthodox Christmas (old calendar or Julian calendar). Favorite month or special day.
Everyone has a favorite month or special day. How you celebrate it and make memories, is for you to cherish for the rest of your life. For me my favorite holiday is Christmas. I like everything about Christmas, I enjoy giving gifts and watching people’s eyes light up with surprise. I enjoy helping people who are in need, even if I help a little bit. Something is more than what they started the day with. I enjoy cutting down a real tree, decorating the house inside and out with lights and decorations. I enjoy driving to different areas and looking at everyone’s decorated houses. Christmas time is filled with so much love and smiles and this just warms my heart.
