For most people we can never walk into a store to just get one thing. We always seem to buy more things than what we originally came in for. This might not happen for every store we go to, but it defiantly happens when we go to our favorite store. Having a grocery list and sticking to it will help from impulsive buying. There are some people that do good by only buying what they went in the store for. Do you think online shopping has made impulse buying easier or harder?

Ways to prevent impulse buying!

Different people will have their own tips and tricks to prevent impulse buying. To prevent impulse buying you must have discipline with yourself. You must go into the store and only get what you need and get out. Window shopping can increase your chances to buy something impulsively. Creating a list and only getting what is on your list is also a way to help prevent impulsive buying. Impulsive buying comes from when we see a good deal or when we think we need something that we see. Sometimes I think impulsive buying comes from us wanting something, doesn’t matter what it is, we just want anything that is new. Can you walk into a store and walk out with only the items you came in for?

Where does impulse buying happen the most?

Surprisingly impulsive buying happens most at our favorite stores. A lot of females can tell you that love Target. Men are not so innocent either. The men will buy impulsively at a tool store, automotive store or hardware store. No matter who you are and what you like or how much control you try to have with yourself we will always buy impulsively somewhere. Sometimes we do it without even realizing. It happens with online stores also. We see great deals or something on sale and we just must buy it. I can see Amazon having a high rate for impulsive buying. What is your favorite store where you buy everything from?

My shopping experiences.

For the most part I can walk into a store and get exactly what I came in for and get out. Same goes for online shopping, I get what I need and close the app or website. I am defiantly not saying I have never impulsively bought something because I have. I have walked into a hardware store for one thing and walked out with a bunch more things because I figured I can do a few projects when I get home. While it has always been stuff, I needed or was planning on buying another day I just ended up saving a trip another day. The last time I impulsively bought something had to be at least a year ago or more. I usually do good only buying stuff I came into the store for. When was the last time you impulsively bought something?
