The greatest gift anyone could give someone is love. Gifts are not about the money, but the thought and love put into it. Most people would choose something homemade or personalized over an expensive store-bought gift. Not every gift received or given can be the greatest or perfect one. The number of people who return gifts that were given to them is higher than you would think. When giving the greatest gift, you must give something that will touch their heart. Giving a gift that cannot be bought is priceless. Sometimes it can be just spending precious time with someone. Sometimes it can be hard coming up with the perfect gift to give. We all want to give a gift that someone will love or keep. According to SaveMyCent they state that 58% of people prefer a personalized gift. Having a personalized gift made or handmaking a gift for someone has a higher chance of being cherished and kept. According Magestore men do not like beauty supplies or plants (including flowers), where women do not like liquor or plants (including flowers) for gifts. My personal experience.
I personally do not return or regift gifts. But then again, I have never been given something I never wanted. I always like to think that someone went out of their way to get me something I wanted. I have been given gifts that I questioned myself on whether I will like it or not. When I gave that gift a chance, I ended up liking it or using it. I personally regifting is tacky and is wrong. Just don’t regift an unwanted gift! If someone honestly doesn’t like a gift that was given to them then they just need to exchange it for something they want. Returning something and taking the money and not exchanging it I feel like you just want the money. If that was the case next time let people know you only want money, then it will save you a trip to the store and stand in a return line.
