Michael Goutis grew up as a middle child. During his childhood his parents introduced him to many different types of sports and activities. He learned quickly that he loved ice hockey. He played ice hockey until he was 18 years old. Other activities Michael enjoyed doing were crafts, being outside, camping, boating, and anything that could keep him busy.
During Michael’s younger years he was influenced by everyone around him. He learned much by observing and trying it himself. Michael’s brain was like a sponge always soaking up everything that was thrown at him. He learned the importance working hard for what you have, do everything yourself (then you know it will be done right), invest and save money.
Michael always enjoyed staying busy, working, and helping others where he could. He has donated much time and money to many different charities. He is one person that would give the shirt off his back and give it to someone who needed it more.
Michael Loves learning and teaching. After graduating high school, Michael went to college for automotive, teaching, mechanical engineering, and nursing. He uses all the skills he has learned through the years in his life today.
Michael has always worked even from a young age. His parents, especially his mother, had to be on her toes because Michael loved to empty the garage and clean it. Michael has had many different jobs, from owning his own grass cutting business with his brothers, working in factories, working on boats, working at a sub sandwich shop, working in automotive, working as a first responder, and working in a hospital just to name a few.
Michael has always excelled in everything he has done. He has started at the bottom and works his way up in everything he does.
Today his current job keeps pushing him to be better than he was the day before. He is always learning and excelling within his job. He can teach and share his knowledge with new people within his job. Many coworkers still seek advice and knowledge from Michael.
Michael is a very respected Emergency Medical Technician and Field Training Officer. He holds two associate degrees. One in Applied Automotive Science and the other in General Studies. He holds many specialty certificates in marine, automotive and emergency medicine.
