What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

When it comes to someone asking a question, we should never be negative towards them. Everyone will have a question from time to time. Someone will have a question for a reason, otherwise they wouldn’t be asking the question. Questions are a way for us to learn and understand something. Being asked too many questions should never be a thing. We should never be annoyed by someone asking us questions. Do people ask you questions, or do you usually ask someone else questions?

Gaining knowledge.

One way we can gain knowledge is by asking questions. Lots and lots of questions. Asking questions and picking someone’s brain is an excellent way for us to learn something new. Gaining knowledge and learning something new is something we should always be striving for every day. Learning something new every day keeps us striving to be a better person. We should always keep learning so we can teach others. Helping and teaching others should always be one of our focuses throughout life. Do you try to help others who have questions?

Negative feedback.

When someone asks a question or when we ask a question, no one should ever be negative to the person asking the question. We ask questions because we want to learn about something or get more clarification on something. Giving negative feedback or acting in a negative way will only keep someone from asking questions in the future. This may now set back that person from learning from another person because they are afraid to ask questions or not understand something. The way we interact with people plays a huge role; our body language is sometimes more important than the way we express ourselves. Have you ever gotten negative feedback for asking someone a simple question?

Being approachable.

We should always try to be approachable. Sometimes it’s easier than said. Some people will go off someone’s facial expressions or their actions to decide if they are friendly or not. They might not have ever interacted with that person but based on looks sometimes can play a role if you are approachable or not. When someone does interact with you show them that you are a positive person and be welcoming. This will open them up to asking you more questions and being a reliable source that can help them become more knowledgeable. Do you think you are an approachable type of person?

Too many questions.

There should never be a thing of too many questions. If someone is coming to you asking questions, that means they trust you and look up to you. This is something you should have some proudness in. It means you know the information they are seeking and possibly have experience to back what you tell them. So, the next time someone asks you a question take that as a big compliment that they chose you to answer the question and grow their knowledge on something.

The questions I get daily.

Being an FTO at my job I get so many different types of questions. I have been told by some people that by going off my facial expressions I seem like I am a mean person. Once they got to know me their opinion changed. I always try to be opening and answer all the questions I can. If I do not have an answer to a question, I will find the answer and let them know. I like it when I do not know an answer because that means I can learn something new too. There are no questions I honestly hate. The more questions someone asks the more they are learning or reassuring their knowledge. One thing I always say when I am teaching someone “do you have any questions, comments or concerns? Or anything you want to talk about”. I try to say that to them after every call we get.

Do you get bothered by people when they ask you lots of questions or certain types of questions?
