There are many different means of transport we can use when traveling. Of course you can always walk, jog or run to different places. Most people choose a faster and more efficient transportation means depending on how far they are traveling. The farther they travel the faster transportation one usually goes with. Some people like to get to their destinations fast and others would like to take the slow scenic route. When choosing a method of transportation sometimes there are many factors that go into play. How many different means of transportation have you used this year?
Means of transportation.
There are very many different means of transportation that we use. When choosing a means of transportation, we base it off distance, time, terrain, weather, cost, and preference. For example, biking is great if we are looking to enjoy the weather, going a short distance and getting exercise. If we are looking to travel from Michigan to Florida, biking is most likely out of the question, but an airplane would be most people’s choice. What is your main choice of transportation?
Vacations and far destinations.
Sometimes when traveling we must make a choice of what type of transportation we will use. Depending on the distance, cost, weather, and scenery will be the factors in choosing our preference. Sometimes we like to make a road trip out of it and will drive so we can make many stops or no stops along the way. If time is limited, we may choose to fly in an airplane. Depending on cost, sometimes a bus or train can be cheaper. With every means of transportation, they all have their pros and cons. Most of the time it comes down to preference. For example, some people are afraid of flying, especially after 9-11. So, airplane will be out of the question for them. Would you or do you fly in airplanes and helicopters?
The scenic route.
Some people love to take the most scenic route when traveling. They like to see everything. Driving a car, riding on a motorcycle or flying in a helicopter can be the most scenic route and can be romantic if you are looking to get a good view of the scenery, sunrise or sunset. Sometimes there’s nothing like capturing the perfect picture when driving, riding or flying in a helicopter. If given the opportunity, would you fly in a helicopter or have you flown in a helicopter?
Being on the water.
When it comes to being on the water there are so many different types of boats, ships, and personal watercrafts. Most of the time there is nothing like being on the water. Although weather, waves, and distance play a huge role as well as cost. Everything on the water costs more or so it seems. Sometimes the scenery on the water can be spectacular and very romantic if you are looking for that route. While the water is never a efficient means of transportation unless you are traveling to a small island, its still one of the most preferred by many people. My means of transportation.
For the most part I like driving everywhere. I can stop and do whatever I want, when I want. I am not tied down to renting or relying on other means of transportation. There is nothing like exploring and seeing everything a place has to offer. Driving is one way I can find the hidden gems sometimes. When I do get the chance, I do like every type of transport means. I enjoy being on the water, up in the air, and of course exercising by biking.
