
Today life can be so fast paced and demanding so much from us. We all have gotten caught up in the busy world of life. Between work, school, kids, bills, etc. life gets busy, and we forget to take time for ourselves. Taking some time for ourselves and unwinding is how we reset ourselves. Unwinding and taking time for us is very healthy and reduces stress. There are many things we can do to unwind ourselves you usually have to find what is right for you. If we never take anytime four ourselves, we will get burned out and could possibly have some other health problems that will follow. Have you ever gotten caught up in the busy life and needed time for yourself?
The busy life.
Life today is so busy. The world we live in can be so demanding between work, school, kids, chores, and everything else we must do. Our jobs today require us to work longer hours, more days, more work and/or with less personal days off or vacation days. Kids have their school functions and out of school activities they attend to. The chores and honey to do list gets bigger and bigger with no light at the end of the tunnel. Life in general can seem like it’s funneling down the drain and we are sinking. Do you ever feel like you are always being pulled down by life in general?
unwind and take some me time.
When life is pulling us down and we feel like we are sinking we need to stop, unwind and take some me time. When taking some me time it doesn’t have to be anything crazy or expensive. Sometimes relaxing at the beach, swimming in the pool, getting lost in a book or movie is all we need. We all need to step away from life for a day and just relax and gain control of who we are. We all need a day to ourselves occasionally. Occasionally we can spoil ourselves by going shopping, having a spa day, or hanging out with friends. Do you ever take time for yourself?
Healthier and happier.
Taking some time for yourself is healthier and will make you happier. When we unwind ourselves it’s like a spring unwinding after having so much tension on it for so long. The heavy burdens of life will weigh down on us and cause so much unhealthy stress. Having your time will make you feel like a weight has been lifted and ready to tackle the next thing life throws at you. Relaxing and unwinding relieves stress and makes you happier, you will live a longer happier life. Stress surprising can bring on so many health problems like anxiety, depression, overeating, insomnia, muscle tension and other health problems. Do you think everyone should have some type of stress reducer?
Taking my time.
I work long hours, which then makes my chores at home back up. On top of it trying to do everything for the family while spending time with my family. Juggling life can get hard and be very stressful. I try to take one day at a time and not let my stress or honey to do list overwhelm me. The funny thing is sometimes we cause the stress ourselves. For example, my honey to do list is a list that I made for the things I want done or upgraded around the house. I try to take a weekend or at least a couple days out each month to reduce stress and gain more happiness in life. While I like doing things around the house and crossing off things on my honey to do list, sometimes I need more than that. I need to spend time with my family or sit and relax for a day. Life is short, don’t waste it away working or stressing out over everything.
