Everyone has their own preference of weather that they enjoy. Some people like the warmer weather while others like the cooler weather. Usually if a person lives where it is either cold or hot they will always say they could never handle the opposite extreme weather. Most people prefer a certain type of weather for many reasons, such as some of the outdoor activities that are associated with it. Is there a weather type you prefer?
Accustomed to the weather.
Most people enjoy the weather that they grew up in. For example, if you live in Michigan the weather is mild for the most part and the temperatures ranges in Fahrenheit from 80’s-90’s for highs and 10s-0’s for lows (sometimes it can get hotter or colder). Now if you live in Arizona the weather is much warmer there than Michigan. So, if you visited Michigan, you might feel cold or the need to bundle up with clothing. Being used to certain weather can play a role in what type of weather we prefer. Do you prefer to live with the type of weather you grew up with or somewhere with a different type of weather?
Downside to visiting another place.
Sometimes people will not travel at certain times of the year, or they will avoid certain places at different times of the year due to the weather. Sometimes the weather can be too extreme such as tornados, hurricanes, too hot, or too cold. Other times people do not want to be in or drive in bad weather such as different types of storms. Do you avoid traveling during different times of the year to avoid storms or weather?
Weather and bugs.
Different temperatures from place to place have different bugs from place to place. Some people may decide not to travel to certain areas due to the bugs or wildlife that is active in the area. For example, mosquitos are more active in warmer weather than in cooler weather. Sometimes people will travel to certain areas or in certain weather to see specific wildlife. Like traveling to Europe during the warm months to see the marmots, since they hibernate during the cooler and cold months. Do you travel to see different animals?
Outdoor activities.
Most people will like certain types of weather and seasons due to the outdoor activities they prefer to do. Sometimes people will like the cold snowy weather so they can go ice skating outside or skiing down a snow hill. Others may enjoy the hot sunny weather so they can go to the beach or go swimming in a lake. Everyone has their preference of which weather is the best or their favorite. Many people enjoy the best of both worlds and will travel to get a little bit of each type of weather. If you could, would you travel to enjoy the best of both weathers?
The weather I enjoy.
I enjoy the weather where I live. I was brought up in Michigan and Michigan’s weather is the best of all worlds (in a way). We have hot days that are perfect for swimming or going to the beach. We also have cold snowy weather that is great for playing in snow or skiing. I enjoy everything about where I live.
