What advice would you give to your teenage self?

As we get older, we always wish someone would have steered us in the right direction, so we didn’t make big mistakes in our life. The huge mistakes and fees we could avoid if someone would of just told us. Being able to go back in time or sending a message to our younger self would be life changing. Although sometimes the only way to really learn something is to make a mistake, especially in life. Making mistakes and sometimes failing is what helps shape us to be who we are today. Do you ever wish someone would have told you something or steered you in the right direction?

Wishing for guidance.

Sometimes a little guidance is all we need to stay on track with life. Throughout life we will be faced with challenges and ultimatums. It sometimes would be nice for someone to guides us through these challenges and help us choose the ultimatums. There are many parents, grandparents, and sometimes friends that will give advice but when we are young and in our teen years, we believe we know it all. The older you get you want to slap that younger self for not taking the advice. Has anyone ever tried giving you advice, but you blew them off or ignored the advice?

Giving advice to your younger self.

Giving advice to yourself can be life altering. You could potentially save a life. For example, if you know a friend who is going to drink and drive or someone who was planning to take their life you could stop them from driving or prevent it from happening. There are many things we would want to tell ourselves and to help change the outcomes of life. When it comes to giving advice on things, we could tell ourselves to meet our soulmate sooner, or give financial advice, and things we could improve on. Would you give your younger self advice if you could?

Mistakes and no mistakes.

Fixing our mistakes or making them never happen would be a dream come true. Especially on some of the mistakes we have made throughout life. We all dread or hate when we look back on some of the mistakes we have made throughout life. Mistakes help us learn and grow. By making the mistakes we make in life we learn much from them. They teach us how to be a better person and how we do things next time. Mistakes teach us how to deal with certain problems and situations. Think about how your life would be if you never made a mistake. Would you be the same person you are today if you never made a mistake?

The advice I would give myself.

I honestly think I would keep the advice simple and short. I have learned so much from the mistakes I have made throughout life and its defiantly has shaped me to be who I am today. I would defiantly not be the same person if I hadn’t done everything I have experienced in life. The simple advice I would tell myself is invest money no matter how difficult you find it to and do not let anyone stop you. I just wish I had stood up to my ex-wife and started investing money when I was young. Other than that, I do not have regrets in my life. I have many things I am not proud of but without them I wouldn’t be who I am today. Sometimes the best way to learn and shape us is to fail and make mistakes.

If you could give your younger self advice, which advice would you give?
