So much can happen to a person in the next six months. Most people will have a schedule that they like to live by. It helps them keep on tract of their daily obligations as well as upcoming obligations. Not only do we have stuff planned but are also faced with unplanned events. Many people will plan parties, vacations, home renovations, and events within six months. Not everything goes as planned. Sometimes we will have last minute events, vacations (weekend or day trips), and of course the unplanned renovations (when stuff breaks). Do you try to have a schedule and plan stuff out?
Schedules and organization.
For most people they must have everything written down on a schedule and everything must be planned and organized. Some people will have their day thrown off if they do not have it on a schedule or planned out. For some, being organized through life makes them more comfortable in life. They can easily look at the schedule and know what is happening. Many people do not need a schedule and do not have to be organized throughout life. These people can go through life without a schedule and just be open to changing what they do for the day on the fly. Sometimes being spontaneous makes the day more exciting. Are you the type of person who needs a schedule for the day?
Unexpected obligations and events.
No matter how organized and planned we try to be, there will always be unplanned events and obligations. Life happens! Things break, people change plans, and the unexpected things happen. Sometimes things will just go wrong, or plans will get cancelled. It’s like the saying goes “if it can go wrong, it will go wrong”. When things happen or go wrong, we must adapt our plans and schedule to accommodate it. How do you handle it when things don’t go right, or stuff happens?
Winging life.
Many people do not need a schedule and do not need their day to be organized. They just live life in the moment. Whatever happens, just happens and they go with the flow. For some being this way is easier said than done. These types of people can make plans or have plans broken and they just go with it. They do not get bothered if plans get made or broken. Either way they will find something to fill their day. Have you ever tried to just live the day in the moment and whatever happens, happens?
My plans for the next six months.
I like to have some type of plan and schedule. Although there are many times I do things on the fly, I just adapt my schedule, but I still have a schedule whether things get added or taken away from it. In the next six months I am planning to go camping, put flooring through my house, paint some rooms in the house. I have been changing my internet to a new router (easier said than done especially with smart home stuff). I want to put a small garden in behind my home and do some landscaping for the front of the house. I have lots of plans, but time will tell if I can finish all these projects and plans in a timely manner between working, weather, blogging, and living life.
What’s your biggest plan or goal in the next six months?
