Planning for my future and retirement.

We all want to think we have plan or goal sometimes. I honestly hope my plan and goals allow me to retire from work. The one thing I do to prepare myself is invest in a 401k, a Roth IRA, a few other investments and some stocks on my own. Playing around on the stock market is a mini investment for me, my goal is to make enough from dividends that will give me some extra cash or even pay some of my bills. The one thing I told myself about doing stocks on my own is that if I were to lose all the money invested in stocks, I would not be hurting financially but anything I make from it will be a bonus for me. When preparing for retirement I wanted many sources of income so if one fails or is lower than expected, I will have another one to fall back on. Investing and preparing for retirement can be risky today. I don’t know if I am making all the right moves but one can only hope.
